Board of Visitors


The Board of Visitors functions as an advisory arm of the Board of Trustees, serving as a source of information of potential institutional connections, providing support to advancement and identifying ways the university can be of service to the community.

The Board of Visitors also provides a support function to the university in the form of information, partnerships and financial support. Members of the board are appointed to serve on committees of the Board of Trustees:

  • Promotion and Development
  • Instruction and Student Life
  • Buildings and Grounds
  • Invited to serve on committees of The Friends of Music or Visiting Writers Series
